The Disabled American Veterans is a congressionally-chartered organization dedicated to empowering veterans of all generations—especially those injured or ill—to lead high-quality lives with respect and dignity. DAV ensures veterans and their families can access the full range of benefits available to them by providing free, professional claims and appeals assistance. Through a network of service officers and volunteers, DAV also provides transition help, employment assistance, and free transportation to VA medical appointments, fighting for the interests of America's injured heroes on Capitol Hill.
